Can I just show up and consign items?

No, and thank you for asking!

You are asked to PLEASE email us pictures of your items, and details. Please be as specific as possible. For example: “I have 72 of the green votive holders, I purchased them on XYZ Website” or “I have a “XYZ dress Size XX, I had purchaed it for XYZ dollars at XYZ Boutique. I had the following alterations done…”

ANY dress that is older than 3 years will not be accepted. We are not a VINTAGE clothing boutique, sorry.

Very Important, any “preserved gowns” in the box, must be removed from the box at home and brought to the shop on a hanger for visual inspection prior to contract, we will not take your box or packing materials. 

We also do not accept items from any store that sells things for under five dollars, so please do not ask if we will accepts items that only cost you one dollar. We adore you for asking but we do not have space for those types of good.

Once we have discussed your items via email we can either decline or set up an appointment for an in person inspection. ANY further questions can be answered through our email [email protected] 

What is your consignment split?

Since we offer a variety of items that include a diverse price point please email us directly with photographs of your items to receive information on our consignment practices.

What is the buyout schedule?

The consignor’s share of the payout is made at the end of the contract term; payouts during the contract period are made on the 28th of each month. All payouts will be given in the form of a check, to be mailed or picked up in-person; consignor must confirm method. All payout claims under this contract expire 60 days after the 95 day contract has expired. Consignors may elect to only have one check if items sell at the end of the 95 day contract.

The goods are consigned for 95 days. Unsold goods must be collected within 4 weeks after the end of the consignment period. Goods not collected within this period automatically become the property of the consignee to sell or donate without payout.

Will you buy items outright, or are all items on consignment?

No we do not purchase items outright.

What items do you sell at your shop? 

We are always looking for quality items to sell on your behalf. We again, we do not take items purchased at stores that feature products for $5 or less! We are a consignment boutique creating a beautiful experience for you and our buyers.

We are always looking for Card Boxes, Candle Holders, Mirrors, Easels, Signs, Table Numbers, etc. You get the picture? Anything that puts a great wedding day together. 

Of Course our Dress selection is fabulous too! Mom’s Dresses, Party Dresses, Wedding Guest Dresses, Let’s Not Forget Grandma’s Dresses and YES Bridal Gowns. Our Dresses are NEW and GENTLY LOVED! 

What about my DIY Projects?

 We will consider DIY Projects, however the quality of the work is paramount to our accepting any items. Visual Inspection is even more important for DIY projects. 

What information do I need for dressing room appointments?

We have TWO dressing rooms but space is limited, so we ask you bring no more than three people, to be HONEST two is better. Also, there is NO FOOD AT ALL in the dressing room area, and WATER ONLY. If you bring a young lady or gentlmen with you note we do love children, but we will ask you to leave if you do not keep them seated and respectful to our space and our clients, we are sorry but this is not a place to “play” for children. 

Remember to wear proper undergarments, and bring shoes that provide you with your anticipted heal on your wedding day. 

Do you offer private appointments in the shop?

Yes we do! We offer our cupcake and processco appoinments, Wednesday through Sunday starting at three in the afternoon. This appointment is $100 and includes Complete store privacy for two hours. This exclucivity allows you to shop, your Mothers, your bridal party and friends to shop for dresses for all occasions as well. To celebrate we provide a 1/2 a dozen Gourmet Cupcakes from J-Cakes of North Branford and a Bottle of Processco. This appoinment is capped at six people including the bride. For an additional $50 we can add in Coffee and Espresso. These appointments are first come first serve, and must be confirmed in advance, and paid for one week before the appoinment or it will be canceled. Only one wedding party can do this per day! 

If I purchase items may I consign them again after our wedding or special event?

Absolutely! We love it! Bring back our previously sold items, you will NOT be able to sell them at the same price, as they are adjusted by use, but we would be honored to put them back into our sustainability mantra and give them another new chance at happiness!
